At Snapchat I was a creative strategist across Gaming, Tech, and Telco verticals.

The first half of my tenure was spent helping clients get familiar with bringing their currently existing social content into the Snap universe. This was largely analytical, as it was looking at metrics of what types of content performed best, and seeing how they could be tweaked to get more engagement and click-throughs.

A lot of that work went into the “Discover” side of the app, where people go to watch content.

The latter half was a bit more creative.

I spent the majority of my time creating bespoke AR and VR lenses (think filters) for our clients.

This required thinkning around what they were trying to launch, were there specific features we could use inside the camera to get people to share, learn, or spend time in. Some of these concepts were even portal experiences, more immersive room-like views within the platform.

I’ve even led workshops to get our clients brainstorming their own lenses to be implemented on the platform. The best part about this many of the lenses created were often shared on other social media platforms.
